A Double Knot With Thailand

For the second time since its launch, a TV company in Thailand has acquired the rights to transmit The God Question to the nation. The first channel in South East Asia to broadcast the series was the highly popular True Visions, whose programmes, with a large majority of subscribers, are the most watched throughout the country. Now the free-to-air company Next Step TV will offer a fresh opportunity to Thai viewers to engage with the science/God debate. Producer Iain Morris said “We are fascinated by the popularity of the series in what is essentially a Buddhist country. I think this shows how intriguing The God Question is for everyone regardless of their background - religious or not.” The original God Question series is being marketed by the distributor Flame under a new title “Science vs God?”
